Winter Rhythms and Wild Stallions
Earthworm Dreaming…
It’s hard to see clearly sometimes.
Windows foggy. Shrouded view.
Even if the skies aren’t grey and the colours of earth are in bloom, life can seem… a little dull.
Going through the motions, not sure what the next big stepping stone is, or when it’s going to come.
The land of stagnation. The land of confusion.
I used to say, can we at least find clarity… in the confusion?
It’s clear that we’re confused, after all!
Reflecting back now, I can see that a lot of the time, these moments would swell during the cooler months.
Autumn. Winter.
If only I could tell myself to pay closer attention to nature; the seasons. Winter is compost season after all. Earthworms, leaf litter, returning to the underworld, hibernation.
Mountain bear dreaming.
The whirring cogs of my monkey wind would often get so caught up in trying to force the next move and seek clarity, that I missed the memo entirely that something within was also trying to sync up with the changing of the seasons.
Wild Stallions or Rejuvenation?
Winter’s just around the corner.
Can we allow ourselves to slow down, to sync up with the seasons?
To rejuvenate?
If indeed our mind-body-soul complex is steering us toward those rhythms, that is.
I’ve been riding the wild and fiery stallion all year. The spiritual fire that my 101 days of Primitive Friction Fire gifted me is still burning strong, and I’m feeling well and truly fit for service.
Harking back a decade ago, to my time with the late great ascended maestro and huachumero, Don Howard Lawler… he’d often say, “in order to be of service, we must be fit for service.”
And to be sure, he was talking about a specific type of service. That of heart, soul and spirit.
And you could say that’s partly what The Pilgrimage is about.
A pathway that allows us to become more fit for service. An offering that helps us reclaim more of our personal power, awakens more of our potential, activates more of our heart medicine and soul path.
We’re just about to enter the Vic High Country Edition of The Pilgrimage. Meeting the edge of winter in the mountains. The programme structure has changed, to sync up with the seasonal shifts.
Riding wild stallions, or rest and rejuvenation?
Why not both?
Come and tune in if the sound of wild mountain sauntering, nature awareness skills, shamanic practice and philosophy, mysticism, awakening, healing, ceremony, initiation and deep wilderness immersion speaks to your soul.
See you in the mountains….
