EARTH-BASED TRADITIONS & SHAMANIC INITIATIONS
Caiyuda was initiated into the world of plant-based shamanism well over a decade ago, finding his way as a Spirit Quest Alumni under the guidance of the late-great ascended maestro, Don Howard Lawler.
Over the course of six years, he made a yearly pilgrimage to the Peruvian Andes, to study the earth-based practices of the mountains with the Q’ero, and the shamanic plant-medicine traditions with numerous curanderos and huachumeros in the region.
Since then, he has spent time with various mentors and teachers in the Americas, Australia and the Mediterranean, assimilating and synthesizing the many branches of shamanism, mysticism, initiatory rites, contemplative practices and earth-honouring ceremonial traditions; to better walk a path of heart-centered consciousness, soul-oriented leadership, and cultural regeneration.
Throughout the years, he studied Vision Quest Guide Training under the tutelage of The School of Lost Borders, and the Southern Lipan Apache Stalking Wolf lineages; which incorporated a four directions Eco-Soulcentric Wheel of Development approach as taught by Bill Plotkin.
Continuing with the Stalking Wolf tradition, as passed down down through Tom Brown Jr, he expanded his experiential knowledge in the field of wilderness survival and nature-awareness skills through studying with Nature Philosophy and undertaking their Nature Connection Teacher Training program.
A father to two young daughters, he likes to remain close to the valleys, mountains and crystal clear waters that forever speak to his heart and soul.
