Stop Trying and Give Up On Your Dreams (Here's Why)

The End Is Near: Don't Even Bother

(Unless You Pay The Price)

If your day isn't full of your highest priorities, you may as well forget about your dream life.

  • The cost of living is skyrocketing

  • Societal collapse is around the corner

  • We're on the brink of environmental disaster

  • Toxic chemicals and lifestyles are slowly killing us

  • You're weighed down by distractions, drowning in a sea of noise.

Addictions have us trapped. Disorientation is the killer. How do we focus when flashy thumbnails, sound bites, and hooks grasp our attention? It's impossible to get ahead.

There's no hope (says an absolute pessimist).

But I have a secret: I've found the magic supplement.

One pill to rule them all.

And for a small price of $19.99, I can hook you up.

Send payment to keepreading@thisemail.com and all will be revealed.

The reason why I was put in a spiritual headlock…

Let me explain:

15 years ago I was bedridden. Weighed down by debilitating physical illness, I was barely able to function.

Some of you can relate.

It took a painfully long time to climb out of that hole.

And even then, I hovered at around 70% max capacity. Symptoms would come and go. I'd manage them (beating myself up a little in the process wondering why I wasn't really getting any better).

I'd plateau again, falling into complacency and "good-enough", despite the forever gnawing feeling of dissatisfaction.

I'm not here to talk about those health issues specifically, but if you're dying to know what they were, it was a multitude of factors:

  • Poor nutrition

  • Artificial lighting

  • History of heavy antibiotic use

  • Poor sleep

  • Parasites

  • Heavy metal toxicity

  • Environmental chemicals

  • Alcohol abuse

  • EMF exposure

  • Chronic inflammation

  • Poor detox pathways

Not to mention emotional baggage, unresolved trauma, dysfunctional beliefs and behaviours, spiritual disconnection.

Sounds fun right? And for another small cost of $9.99 I can sign you up for that same lifestyle too!

In all seriousness, the candle was burning at both ends. I needed to reorient my beliefs and behaviours, because my daily actions weren't matching what I wanted.

I wanted health. I wanted vitality. I wanted healing.

But I wasn't prioritizing them.

Cheeky sly fox spirit put me in a headlock and said, wake up dummy.

So eventually, I did.

If you’re stuck, this is the root cause...

You're on autopilot.

Like a flying ship, you're at the whim of external currents and strong winds. You haven't clarified what your highest values are, and so you're living a life in accordance to someone else's.

There are serious consequences here:

  • Burnout from chasing goals that don’t inspire you.

  • Physical illness from a build-up of stagnant energy.

  • Resentment towards obligations that clash with your vision for life.

  • Depression from wallowing in stagnation and leaving unfulfilled potential on the table.

And so the solution is simple: Know your values, know thyself.

Greg McKeown calls it Essentialism.

John Demartini calls it Value Determination.

Whatever you wanna call it, we're talking about spending your time, energy, money and attention on the things that matter most.

The things that are essential to enacting your vision for life.

If your day isn't focused on high-priority activities that get you closer to your dreams, you'll default to low-priority activities that keep you wallowing in stagnation.

Follow these steps if you care about your dream life:

Understand What Values Are

Values are the invisible framework behind every choice you make. They’re not goals or aspirations; they’re the things that matter most to you. There are Lifestyle-based Values and Principle-based Values.

Lifestyle-based Values fall into the Seven Quests:

  1. A spiritual quest - fulfilling a spiritual mission

  2. A mind development quest - expanding our mental facilities; the pursuit of knowledge and education

  3. A vocational quest - developing success & achievement in a career

  4. A financial quest - generating wealth and financial freedom

  5. A family/relationship quest - nurturing a loving family, or fostering a soulful relationship

  6. A social quest - contribution to society, desiring social influence, and becoming a powerful leader

  7. A physical quest - focusing on health, vitality, beauty & attractiveness

Principle-based Values include:

Adventure, integrity, recognition, freedom, creativity, health, generosity, courage, gratitude, cooperation, altruism, mastery, discipline, intelligence, empathy, loyalty, wisdom... the list goes on.

Identify What Truly Matters

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Where do I spend my time, energy, and money without hesitation?

  • What do you want to study and learn about most?

  • What kind of topics are you most inspired to talk about with other people?

  • When you look around, what kind of items are most prolific?

  • What energizes you and inspires you the most?

  • What principles and philosophies resonate most with me?

Your honest answers will highlight what you value most.

Align Your Vision with Your Values

Once you know your values, cut the fluff and prioritize them. It's really that simple. I've distilled the process into my Anchoring The Vision Six Step Framework.

  1. Clarify your values and your vision for life

  2. Distil them into projects and goals that will help you enact them

  3. Implement the strategies and systems, aka, the step-by-step process of getting from Point A to Point B

  4. Create structure in your life so you can schedule in high-priority tasks accordingly

  5. Remove distractions, remain committed and be relentless with your execution

  6. Stay curious, be creative and follow your intuition towards new opportunities that feel aligned to your greater vision

How can you accelerate the process?

There are many ways to accelerate and gain clarity on this path.

Vision Quest is an option. Our next one is 26th April - 3rd May 2025, about 3.5hrs from Melbourne. Early Birds end soon and there are limited places. You can reply to this email and I'll send you more info.

One of our participants shared this after a ceremony earlier in the year:

“I thought I valued career success and a six figure income, but after achieving that and still feeling hollow, what I really wanted was creative expression and conscious community. I shifted my goals and you wouldn't believe it, I finally started that community arts program. That session was huge and the value-process we went through was a game-changer. Everything has changed in the best possible way.

There's no denying it.

Whether through Vision Quest or some other pathway, determining your values brings clarity, and clarity brings focus. In a world of disorientation, like a phoenix rising from the flames, we need reorientation to focus on what truly matters.

Thanks for your time and attention, I appreciate it.

Happy Solstice and an Abundant Festive Season,

Caiyuda
